Paolo Giordano al Cortile del Leccio: nuovo ebook “Scrivere la natura” e performance multimediale

Tuesday 14 October at 5 p.m.the Holm Oak Courtyardone of the most beautiful monumental trees in Italy, will host Paolo Giordano for a meeting dedicated to his new ebook "Writing Nature".

The writer from Turin, premio Strega con “La solitudine dei numeri primi” and author of Tasmania, will dialogue with Beppe Cottafavi e Andrea Cavanicurator of the Leonardi Archive.

In the text, taken from a speech at the last Festival Trees, Giordano reflects on how writing can give back a voice to nature, weaving personal reflections into a kind of intellectual autobiography. During the festival, the author discovered the work of Cesare Leonardi and chose to bring along one of his famous PR4 chairs, which will be officially presented to him during the meeting.

– L’appuntamento si aprirà con una short multimedia performance: sarà il Leccio stesso – attraverso la voce del progetto “Noi, alberi” curato dal regista Giulio Costa - to tell their story in a 15-minute narrative.

A poetic prelude to an encounter that promises to weave literature, landscape and roots.

– Il tema “Scrivere la natura” sarà inoltre al centro del writing workshop organised by the digital publishing house The Rocking (ildondolo.it) e Rotary Club of Modena for the next edition of theFestival Trees 2026.
