From 17 to 19 October at the Cinema Astra and the Ex Albergo Diurno

After the success of the Bologna edition, the 24FRAME Future Film Fest comes to Modena for a weekend dedicated to the best of contemporary animation cinema, including international premieres, short films, masterclasses and live performances.

Inaugural event: the exclusive preview of the making of by The Last Imagefirst Italian short film made with an integrated workflow between artificial intelligence and VFXproduced by FilmAffair and signed by EDI - Italian Digital Effects e HAI - Human & Artificial Imagination. Presenting it will be the producer Francesco Pepe and the director Frankie Caradonna.

The Festival will also host:

• the new Audience Award in the Short Film Competition;

• Italian premieres such as Telepathic Letters by Edgar Pêra and Hologram by Henri Furtado;

• a kids matinees dedicated to 30 years of Toy Story;

• the masterclass by Simona Bursi on animation and AI;

• the performance 'The Voice and the Beatbox on the Net' with the artist BlackRoll;

• the collective project To Gaza with Lovewith over 300 short films from 50 countries.

In the foyer of the Cinema Astra, the exhibition "Cha Cha, with toys" by Japanese artist Yumi Karasumarusymbol of this edition.

The festival is supported by Emilia-Romagna Region, Municipality of Modena, Foundation of Modena and is part of the 'Modena city of festivals'.
