Modena, Unesco Creative City for Media Arts, is taking part in the Forum dedicated to Italian Creative Cities organised by the association Giovani per l'Unesco currently taking place in Turin.

The forum, now in its fifth edition, meets this year with the UNESCO Creative Cities Network and, with contributions from representatives of institutions and civil society, explores the theme of creativity as a tool for social innovation.

Modena's experience as a Creative City for Media Arts will be presented on Saturday 15 April in the workshop 'Cities and Memory. Handing down the future", one of the four scheduled for the day, in which space will be given to the cities to recount the path and the reasons for which they were nominated Creative City and the projects that combine tradition and innovation and that for Modena concern urban regeneration in particular.

The Italian Youth Association for UNESCO is a non-profit organisation active on a national and international level that carries out activities in the field of education, science, culture and communication, promoting projects, values and priorities through the active participation of the younger generations and civil society. Every year the association organises a cultural event of national scope, the Italian Youth Forum, in a different Italian city as an opportunity for voluntary members, aged between 18 and 35, to reflect and meet.
