The Culture Sector of the Municipality of Modena led the pre-campaign for the candidature of Modena as Unesco Creative City. A challenge won.

Modena is an open and fertile city for young people, it keeps its manufacturing roots firmly intact but also looks to the future as a creative city, where culture and technology dialogue, thanks to a network of qualified players interacting with each other.

A city, Modena, that has chosen to invest in urban regeneration with a strong cultural vocation: new places and spaces, where humanistic and scientific knowledge dialogue, to create a cultural ecosystem capable of producing innovation and sustainability.
