Fourth edition of the project promoted by ForModena in the framework of Modena Unesco Creative City for Media Arts. Monday 13 October open day at the Laboratorio Aperto
Training new professional figures capable of combining digital skills and creativity to enhance the artistic and cultural heritage.
This is the objective of the Ifts course "Tecnico delle produzioni multimediali per la valorizzazione del patrimonio artistico e culturale", promoted by ForModena, starting in November as part of the activities of Modena CittĂ Creativa Unesco per le Media Arts. On Monday 13 October, from 3 to 5 p.m., an open day is scheduled to present the initiative at the Laboratorio Aperto di Modena (project partner), in Viale Buon Pastore 43. The meeting will be attended by the partner companies, which collaborate in the training project and host the internships, and some former students, who will share their experience.
In detail, the fourth edition of the course envisages a total of 800 hours, including face-to-face lessons (with a small online part) and 360 hours of internships at companies in the cultural and creative sector. The course is entirely free of charge thanks to the European funds of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
The figures trained will be digital professionals with transversal skills in multimedia design, communication, programming and data analysis. These skills are expendable in institutions, cultural and creative enterprises and tourist systems, which are always on the lookout for professionals capable of designing innovative multimedia products aimed at enhancing cultural, museum, public, natural and artistic heritage.
15 places are available for young people and adults: in order to be admitted, it is necessary to be resident or domiciled in Emilia-Romagna, to have an upper secondary school diploma or to have been admitted to the fifth class of high school courses, to have intermediate computer skills on the main software and applications, to have a good web and social media skills and a basic knowledge of English. Selection will be by written test and motivational interview. Registration is open until 6 November 2025. At the end of the course, a nationally recognised certificate of Higher Technical Specialisation (Ifts) will be issued. Information available at www.formodena.it.
