Open to 8 young people, aged between 16 and 29, to learn different techniques for the design, production and distribution of multimedia products. Registration until 9 December

Back at the Music Centre, "Urban video", the free training course for young videomakers wishing to explore the different techniques for the creation and distribution of audiovisual and multimedia products (direction, live, multimedia show), as well as to acquire fundamental skills to set up a professional path in the audiovisual sector.

Now in its eighth edition, 'Urban video' is promoted by the Modena Music Centre in cooperation with Easy Show Coop, and coordinated by Francesca Cappi and Federico Sigillo.

The course is open to 8 participants and designed to put them in contact with professionals in the field. Participants will be able to learn more about the tools and techniques used by videomakers, video artists and video designers in the industry, with an overview of photography, writing and video shooting techniques, as well as screenwriting and content design. New this year is a module dedicated to the use of Artificial Intelligence in the creation of visual and audiovisual content, with an introduction to the automation of video editing and image generation.

The duration of the course is 68 hours, comprising face-to-face lectures (18 hours); in-depth modules involving meetings with experts in the field (32 hours); and internships (18 hours).

"Urban video" will start on 20 January 2025 and end on 11 March. Face-to-face lessons will be held on Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m., while meetings with experts will be held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 6 p.m., unless otherwise agreed upon between teacher and students. Lessons will be held in the premises of Centro Musica_71MusicHub, Via Morandi 71 in Modena.

Participation in the course is free of charge. A total of 8 places are available and access is through a ranking list drawn up by a committee of experts and operators who will identify the trainees on the basis of a personal interview to be held on 11 and 12 December 2024 remotely, following email notification with date, time and link to the call.
