A journey to get to know all the partners between festivals, innovative exhibition routes, advanced training, workshops, artistic residencies and digitisation projects

A digital gym, a digital publishing house, a festival dedicated to the encounter between music and new technologies, a centre for cultural production and research on digital arts. These are just a few of the activities that give life to the project of Modena as Unesco Creative City for the Media Arts indicated in the new creativity map just published on the dedicated website of Modena futura creativa (https://modenafuturacreativa.it/mappa-della-creativita) and also accessible from the municipal website (www.comune.modena.it). The map is accompanied by a short video presentation.

The map, which currently contains 23 profiles, allows the visitor to find his or her way around all the public and private entities and organisations that carry out projects in the field of media arts and to stay up-to-date on activities and events: festivals, innovative exhibition routes, advanced training, creative workshops, artistic residencies, digitisation projects of historical and artistic heritage, interactive installations and much more.

"An opportunity," as Culture Councillor Andrea Bortolamasi emphasises, "to discover the current and planned events with culture, creativity and innovation as axes of reference. But also a way to tell, visually and with immediacy, the transformations of the present and to imagine the future. The map creates a relationship and synergy between all the subjects working for innovation in art and culture and allows us - continues the councillor - to have an exhaustive picture of everything that the city has proposed and proposes in the field of media arts'.

The map proposes a profile for each organisation that highlights the media arts segment of the organisation and the initiatives and projects carried out in this area. All activities are grouped into five categories, each of which is identified by a different colour: visual arts, performing arts, education, music, digitisation. And, again within the presentation sheet of each subject, videos and interviews are also collected to "enter" even better into individual projects such as festivals, exhibitions, advanced training, workshops, videos, artistic residencies, readings, interactive installations.
