Quayola on show

A selection of works from the AGO Foundation's collection will be on display at Palazzo Santa Margherita from 19 September to 5 October.

The works presented belong to the series 'Storms' and 'Judith and Holofernes'.

The artist explores the boundary between real and artificial, figurative and abstract, past and future. Fascinated by code and technology, Quayola investigates the algorithmic aesthetics of machines. Through immersive installations and customised software, he reinterprets art history in a contemporary key.

His practice ranges from audiovisual performances and video-installations to sculptures and works on paper, creating experiences that fuse tradition and innovation.
