UCCN Annual Conference Creative Cities

GIUGNO – 2025

Enghien-les-Bains- Paris

DESCRIPTION

Il tema di quest’anno: "Culture and Artificial Intelligence: Shaping the Future of UNESCO Creative Cities."

Creative Cities representatives explored innovative ways to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) with cultural development.

The document, approved by the Mayors of Creative Cities, emphasises the crucial role of cities in promoting innovative cultural policies and integrating culture as a central pillar of future urban development strategies.

Over 500 delegates from around 200 member cities gathered to share good practices and explore innovative partnerships on the proposed theme.

At the event, UNESCO drew attention to the Raccomandazione sull’etica dell’intelligenza artificialeemphasising the need to promote responsible, human-centred artificial intelligence in the cultural and creative sectors. As centres of innovation, UNESCO Creative Cities are called upon to encourage the meaningful, inclusive and ethical use of AI.
