Il Laboratorio Aperto si colloca nei primi progetti concreti di rigenerazione dell’ex comparto AMCM di Modena che nascono grazie al Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale 2014-2020. Inaugurato ufficialmente nel marzo del 2019 nell’ex Centrale AEM, Laboratorio Aperto è un progetto di innovazione e sviluppo urbano, un hub di innovazione e di formazione, aperto e intermediario di valorizzazione di crescita attraverso la funzione abilitante delle tecnologie.

TRAINING
  • IFTS Course Multimedia Production Technician for the valorisation of the artistic and cultural heritage: the 800-hour course (including 320 hours of company internship) that trains professionals to design multimedia products for the enhancement of cultural heritage through digital technologies and creative languages.
  • Start-up Creation Lab: an entrepreneurial path for young graduates and undergraduates, aimed at creating innovative start-ups, which includes meetings, training on business culture, the start-up ecosystem, marketing, business plans and practical activities to develop an idea into a concrete project.

  • Robotics Workshops: free educational activities for middle and high schools, dedicated to STEM disciplines and citizen science, organised by MakerDojo, experts in innovative and experimental didactics.
  • Talk Together: ciclo di seminari divulgativi su temi significativi per il Laboratorio e per la cittadinanza, come la trasformazione digitale, le nuove professioni del futuro, l’attrazione dei talenti negli ambiti delle industrie culturali creative, e la comunicazione alla sostenibilità.

  • Stanza Immersiva “La sostenibilità per l’impresa ed il territorio”: a real interactive IA powered environment for the dissemination of sustainability issues. Upon entering the room, the public can dialogue with Mini-Ecco, a Mini Robot from the future with a very special mission: to prevent the climate crisis from leading to the extinction of our species. The room was designed by Fabvision and Achab, partners of Open Lab, and was inaugurated in September 2024, during the Smart Life Festival.
