Enrolment open until 9 December for the free videomaking course promoted by the Music Centre and the Municipality of Modena<\/strong><\/p>\n

Urban Video, the free videomaking course promoted by the Centro Musica and the Culture Department of the Municipality of Modena, within the activities of the Centro Musica_71MusicHub, is back again this year. Coordinated by Francesca Cappi and Federico Sigillo, the project reaches its ninth edition, confirming itself as a point of reference for those wishing to explore the new frontiers of audiovisual and multimedia production.<\/p>\n

Designed for young people between the ages of 16 and 29, resident or domiciled in the province of Modena, Urban Video is a training course that accompanies participants in discovering the world of work through the practical learning of directing, filming, editing and multimedia design techniques. An opportunity for those who dream of working with images, but also for those who want to understand how to construct an effective and contemporary visual language.<\/p>\n

The course, which is completely free of charge, is divided into a broad and structured programme that puts students in contact with professionals and operators in the sector. The total 76 hours of training include frontal lessons, in-depth meetings with experts, a short internship and the creation of content for a final event, so as to combine theory, practice and direct confrontation with those who work every day in the field of audiovisual production.<\/p>\n

The frontal lessons - 18 hours in total - are scheduled on Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m., while the in-depth modules, for a total of 32 hours, are held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 6 p.m. The activities take place at the Centro Musica_71MusicHub, in via Morandi 71. The course starts on 12 January 2026 and ends on 30 March.<\/p>\n

Each edition of Urban Video also represents an up-to-date look at trends in the sector, and this year there is no shortage of novelties: the programme modules include a new course dedicated to the use of Artificial Intelligence in the creation of visual and audiovisual content. The course is therefore an opportunity to discover how the most innovative digital tools can support creativity, from video editing automation to image generation.<\/p>\n

A total of eight places are available, allocated on the basis of a ranking list drawn up by a committee of experts. The selection includes an online interview, scheduled for 11 and 15 December 2025, with an email call and time and link for the call.<\/p>\n
