The new Unesco World Heritage site combines design, technology and exclusive content to offer modern navigation that is accessible to all<\/strong><\/p>\n

A minimalist design for a new visual identity and an accessible and engaging navigation. The new website dedicated to Modena's Unesco World Heritage Site is online, a project financed with funds from the Ministry of Culture (Law 77\/06) and combining design, technology and exclusive content to offer modern navigation that is accessible to all. Edited by Elena Grazia F\u00e8 of the World Heritage Office of the Civic Museum of Modena, the new site was commissioned to the Modenese agency Weberia and is a point of reference for those wishing to discover the cultural riches of the Cathedral, the Torre Ghirlandina and Piazza Grande, recognised by Unesco as World Heritage Sites.<\/p>\n

In the foreground are curiosities, education and studies, which make the new site a reference not only for tourists, but also for scholars and Modenese interested in rediscovering the history and secrets of a heritage that belongs to the entire community. And it is precisely to them that the \"Research\" and \"Education\" sections are dedicated, the latter with inclusion projects and itineraries aimed at all schools of all levels, part of the educational project \"At School with Unesco\" which, this year, is 12 years old and proposes engaging educational itineraries dedicated to specific aspects linked to the history and characteristics of the monumental complex of Modena.<\/p>\n

At the centre of it all is the user experience who, from today, has a site designed to guarantee simple and intuitive navigation thanks to a careful organisation of the contents divided into thematic areas. The innovative interface also integrates 3D elements, videos and exclusive photographs, enriching the user experience with a highly suggestive visual impact.<\/p>\n

Each element was designed to enhance the monumental complex and its historical and cultural significance. Particular attention has also been paid to the issue of accessibility of information. The site, which can be consulted in 8 different languages, is in fact equipped with an \"Accessibility widget\", i.e. a panel through which different reading and viewing modes can be set.<\/p>\n

It is crowned by a design that stands out for its minimalist aesthetics and the use of colours that recall the new visual identity of the World Heritage Site, launched with the 2023 'Modena World Heritage' campaign.<\/p>\n

The result is a harmonious balance between modernity and tradition, able to digitally represent Modena's cultural value and to dialogue with the image of Modena Futura Creativa, the reference platform for Modena's second Unesco recognition, that of creative city for media arts.<\/p>\n

\"We are proud to have been able to continue our collaboration with the Municipality of Modena and the Civic Museum,\" said Stefano Baldaccini, Art Director of Weberia. \"Being able to represent the cultural treasure of our land digitally is a privilege and an honour that required teamwork. We are happy to present this project, which combines text content curated by copywriter Sara Camurri and images created by photographer Rafael Cavalli\".<\/p>\n

The result of many months of intense teamwork involving Weberia, the Municipality of Modena and the Museo Civico di Modena, the new site is thus proposed as a reference portal to enhance and promote Modena's World Heritage. A digital showcase inviting everyone, citizens and tourists alike, to discover and appreciate a unique heritage.<\/p>\n
