The first announcement has been published\u00a0Euroclusters for Thriving Creative and Cultural Industries\u00a0<\/em>(CHREATHRIV-EU) of the COSME section of the Single Market programme (SMP), which aims to financially support SMEs in the cultural and creative industries (CCI).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Funded projects and activities must be completed by 30\/04\/2024 and meet one of the following challenges:<\/span>
\n- diversifying products\/services\/content on the basis of digital technologies, especially in the area of heritage, archives and KIC libraries;<\/span>
\n- support the green transition of the audiovisual and multimedia sector and the performing arts;<\/span>
\n- closing the skills gap in the KIC workforce and supporting greater female participation;<\/span>
\n- increase business opportunities through internationalisation and synergies along and between supply chains.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Beneficiaries:<\/strong>\u00a0SMEs in the cultural and creative industries active in the following sectors:<\/span>
\n- cultural heritage, archives, libraries;<\/span>
\n- audiovisual and multimedia including information technology, software and computer services;<\/span>
\n- printing and publishing;<\/span>
\n- visual arts;<\/span>
\n- performing arts;<\/span>
\n- education.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Co-financing:
\n<\/strong>- \u20ac 5,000 for small-scale projects to develop a project with an external expert, i.e. a mapping of specific needs and the provision of recommendations\/action plans in the areas of risk management and mitigation, digitisation, green transition, innovation and technology, internationalisation, retraining or skills development;<\/span><\/p>\n

- \u20ac 20,000 for collaborative projects in which SMEs will have to work with at least one other organisation on a pilot project to develop and prototype a product with a minimum level of 4 technology and commercial maturity (TRL and CRL). The activities supported will be the development of an emerging technology or the improvement of an existing product or technology.<\/span><\/p>\n
