The annual conference of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) offers a unique opportunity to strengthen ties between creative cities from all regions of the world.
On 23 October 2023 Modena participated in the Creative Cities meeting. This year the event took place online with the following objectives:

1. exchange of practical and updated information on the policies and activities carried out by cities to further implement the objectives of the Network both locally and internationally and stimulate collaborations between cities;
2. provide a key platform for discussion between UNESCO and Creative Cities on the Organization’s priorities for action in the field of culture and development, as well as other issues of mutual interest;
3. demonstrate and broaden the impact and reach of the Network and its member cities by fueling dialogue with other stakeholders, particularly those at local level.
