Modena is participating in the 2023 annual meeting of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network for Media Arts, which will be held in Cali, Colombia, from 1 to 3 November 2023. This event aims to offer an annual space for reflection on the challenges, vision and future activities of the Network.

Organized for the first time in Latin America, the annual meeting is a great opportunity for cities to get to know each other and share their experiences, projects and future challenges.

The city of Modena is represented by Silvia Sitton of the Municipality of Modena and Focal Point Unesco Creative City and by Lorenzo Respi Director of Exhibitions and Collections of FMAV Fondazione Modena Arti Visive.

On the occasion of this event and with the aim of further consolidating Modena’s role as a vital center for contemporary art and technological innovation, a presentation video was produced. This video highlights the main activities, festivals and cultural and artistic events that the city hosts, proposes and organizes in the field of Media Arts.

Participation in the Meeting represents an extraordinary opportunity to present our city on an international scale, significantly contributing to promoting Modena as a pulsating center for technological innovation in various sectors.
