An event that focuses on architecture and trees

Modena, Artisan Village and Leonardi Archive

from 7 to 13 April 2025

The event is inspired by the projects and drawings of architects Cesare Leonardi and Franca Stagi. A twenty-year investigation aimed at designing parks and urban greenery. The research of the two Modenese architects has flowed into the volume “L’Architettura degli Alberi” (1982) and the manifesto project “Città degli Alberi di Bosco Albergati”.

During the days of the festival, some places in the city of Modena: the architect’s home-studio, the artisan workshops, the abandoned spaces, the industrial courtyards and the new Diagonale verde, will become the venue for master classes, exhibitions with archive materials, multimedia installations, itineraries and guided tours, workshops for children and adults.
