The immersive installation proposed inside the Civic Museum of Modena lets us discover, through suggestions, words, lights and scents – the latter reproduced thanks to the botanical remains found – an ancient funerary ritual. It is a tomb of Mutina (1st century AD) recently discovered: the burial of a little girl, surrounded by the objects that the family chose to offer to the little girl for her last journey.

The project addresses the theme of the relationship between soul and body, between death and life, closely connected in the classical world thanks to the rituals related to the care of souls.
