With OperaStreaming, the Teatro Comunale brings its operas to the world. Gioachino Rossini’s “Moses in Egypt”, which was performed on Friday 18 and Sunday 20 October 2024, was seen by almost 4,000 fans, some of whom connected from Venice, California, Sapporo and Brazil.

*OperaStreaming offers a seasonal program of live video broadcasts made in the main institutions responsible for the production of operas in Emilia-Romagna (the Fondazione Lirico Sinfonica bolognese, the Traditional Theaters of Piacenza, Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Ferrara and Ravenna, the Teatro Amintore Galli in Rimini) in collaboration with EDUNOVA-University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

The project aims to identify and promote, through a global communication tool, the Emilia-Romagna Region as a territory with a lyrical tradition and opera production of absolute international prestige. The aim of the project is also to provide, even within the context of the same regional territory, a service aimed at disadvantaged audiences in the use of the activities of theaters.
