Increasingly, the Digital Humanities merge with the contexts of the new Information Technologies and cognitive models provided by the Artificial Intelligence, whose technologies are designed for humans and focused on the individual and collective needs of society. This synergy occurs above all within the digital paradigm, with its forms of multimedia interactions and its information models of analysis, understanding and generation of knowledge.

These topics will be discussed during the study day “Humanities & Intelligence” on Friday 4 November, through the scientific interventions of researchers active in the sectors of Artificial Intelligence for cultural heritage and social challenges. To enrich the day, a range of workshops for boys and girls and conversations aimed at a wider audience, with the aim of orienting young talents to STEM and spreading knowledge on a large scale.

The initiative is promoted by AImageLab – “Enzo Ferrari” Engineering Department – UNIMORE as part of AIxDH “Artificial Intelligence for Digital Humanties”, which is successfully entering the third year of its development. The AIxDH project is funded by the Modena Foundation at UNIMORE and is developed in collaboration with AGO Modena Fabbriche Culturali, AIRI, DHMoRe and Future Education Modena.
