An epic journey: the Vettor Pisani and the archaeological finds of Ancòn ( 19th century ).

A multidisciplinary approach recounts the humanity of the 'Ancòn People' and those who participated in a voyage to circumnavigate the globe.

Among the protagonists of the exhibition is Ancòn Girl (Ancòn mummy), whose face was reconstructed using forensic techniques. Using computer tomography, a 3D model of the skull was created, on which the expert Chantal Milani virtually reconstructed part of her identity. The video installation dedicated to her, created by the team of Delumencombines scientific rigour and artistic sensitivity, creating an emotional bond between the audience and this figure from the past.

State-of-the-art survey techniques, combined with contemporary tools and technologies, such as digital reconstructions, video installations and immersive environments, allow visitors to immerse themselves in the story and history.
